Great place with magnificent views of the garden. Efficient staff and attention to detail. Savoury breakfast with lots of food. Amazing and magnificent location in Minden right by nature, the Toronto downtown core, and a cliff overlooking a large lake.

The location offered was beautiful and particularly good right by a cliff as well as the museums in both Minden. We had a savoury and delicious breakfast with fruit and coffee all included and a spectacular view included so much food.

I loved the room as it had a working fireplace and a deck overlooking the lake ! The breakfast was excellent and the service very friendly and attentive. We didn't have the dinner plan but other guests told us the food at dinner was even better than breakfast !

The location of the lodge is stunning, just off the Toronto downtown core. The room was spacious and had a balcony, air conditioning, and a fireplace. The service was friendly and the food was exceptional.

We liked that our room and balcony overlooked the lake.
The room overlooking the lake that we thought we had booked was not the room we were originally booked into. We had to upgrade at an extra $45./nite for a view of any kind.

Lakeside location, friendly helpfull staff. Comfortable relaxing stay after a hectic week of travelling. Food excellent, glad we chose this hotel rather than another more expensive one in Algonquin Park.

The place in the woods and by a lake is great and the hosts (and owners), Connie and Arend, are very dedicated, friendly, hard working, and professional. It was a pleasure staying with my family at this hotel, and we will come back.
The rooms have fans but air conditioning would probably be better.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, grounds well-kept and the lake wonderful for swimming breakfasts were excellent
-The room had a very strong air-freshener smell - we removed the plug-in air freshener as soon as we entered the room, but the smell persisted for our entire stay -the lodge was right on the highway, we expected it to be a little further "in to the trees". The sound of the highway was with us at all times, and it was visible from the beach -we had a 10% gratuity added to our bill which we were not forewarned of -we had dinner there one night, a prix fixe $50/pp - it was good but over- priced, I would have expected much more/higher quality for $50. we didn't even get a choice of dessert
